Yes, the app is available for both iOS and Android.

Frifor shows the 14 allergens that must always be declared on food:gluten-containing cereals, crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soy, milk, nuts, celery, mustard, sesame seeds, sulfur dioxide and sulfites, lupin, and molluscs.

The barcode is read using your phone's camera. Hold the barcode within the marked box in the app and product information will appear automatically.

Yes, it works in all major grocery stores in Norway and Sweden. There are a few suppliers we don't have access to yet, but we're working on it.

Yes. You get a clear overview of both ingredients and nutrition for the products you scan.

You can choose to track gluten closely, and it will always appear first if a product contains multiple allergens.

Frifor collects data from multiple sources and consolidates it in our database. If manufacturers change a product without changing the barcode, information may be out of date for a while. We strive to keep it as accurate and up to date as possible.

Place the barcode in the center of the scanner frame. Try holding your phone closer or farther away. Use the flashlight if it's too dark.

Price and subscription

Full access costs around €5 per month, or €43 per year. Exact pricing depends on your region.

With a subscription you can scan as much as you like. Without one, you get two free scans.
